Parking & Construction Updates

Children’s and Women’s Hospitals
Staff and visitors will notice construction activities adjacent to the North Entrance, Admitting and Deliveries Entrance, and also close to the Main Entrance from Oak Street. MentalHealth

Mental Health Building
A ladder will be setup on green space adjacent to entrance 87. Sidewalk and parking will not be affected.

Campus Roadway & Parking Lot Closures
Contractors have begun digging trenches onsite. The north staff parking lot is accessible from the north east corner, close to the 28 Street entrance.

Please Slow down in construction zones.  The speed limit is 30km/h on the campus ring road and secondary roads.  Please drive with caution to ensure the safety of all on campus.




Ongoing Construction

CAPE Renovations
Hoarding is in place around construction area, and will remain until mid-April.

Ambulatory Care Building
Renovations in the ACB continue, in preparation for the relocation of OT/PT to K1. Hoarding is erected within the work area. Access to Starbucks remains unaffected.

Pedestrian Entrance near RV Parking Lot Closed
The public pedestrian access to campus off 28 Avenue and Heather (near the RV parking lot) is closed. Pedestrian traffic is being redirected to the entrance off 28 Avenue and Willow. Please follow the red signs identifying access routes.

Ronald McDonald House
Construction continues on the new RMH. Framing work continues on the first house. Parking lot south east of Brock Farhni is permanently closed.

The fire alarm system at Brock Fahrni is being replaced. All staff and patients of the facility will notice work in the area.
