Construction and parking update for July 18

Ambulatory Care Building main entrance reopening

At some point next week, the main entrance (44) to the Ambulatory Care Building (the one with Starbucks) is set to reopen. Until then, please continue to use the side entrances.

Construction reminders:

EmergCraneConstruction is now in full swing outside of the BC Children’s Emergency Department. Fencing and a large crane are in place. Parking in the area is short-term and very limited. The area directly in front of the Emergency entrance is reserved for ambulances only. Families are encouraged to use the free valet serviceThe Emergency entrance will remain open throughout construction (scheduled until March 2014.)

Site construction limits available parking on campus.
Please allow extra time when coming to your appointment. Watch for new signage and follow directions of flag persons.

Please drive slowly while on campus.
Traffic patterns are constantly changing for both vehicles and pedestrians. Pedestrians may be hidden from view.
