Avoid using the Main Lobby entrance by Emergency
Please avoid getting picked up/dropped off near emergency if you are going to the BC Children’s main lobby. The area must remain clear for emergency vehicles. Parking in the area is short-term and very limited, so please leave it for people accessing the Emergency Department. Families are encouraged to use the free valet service, or to use the entrance off of Oak Street (by Second Cup) or the North Entrance (#17).
BC Children’s Hospital lobby undergoing construction
The information desk is now beside patient registration in the main lobby of the hospital. A new wall has been put up where the desk used to be.
The three washrooms next to the main elevator bank in the lobby have been closed to make way for the new Orthopedic Clinic. Click here for a map of the first floor with locations of alternate washrooms.
Site construction limits available parking on campus.
Please allow extra time when coming to your appointment. Watch for new signage and follow directions of flag persons.
Please drive slowly
Traffic patterns are constantly changing for both vehicles and pedestrians. Pedestrians may be hidden from view.
